Create entry and use areas within this forested, natural landscape featuring a mid-century modern home originally designed by John Storrs.

Pathways of rectangular and irregular edged bluestone form a zig-zag pattern to a cedar promontory which leads to the front door to the right and bluestone stepping stones to a fire pit in an opening in the forest. Lawn was planted in the lowest part of the property with wood chip paths which 'serpentine' through the woods. Plantings include many Pacific Northwest natives and ornamentals from Asia which will, with time, create a carpet of foliage and bloom on the forest floor.

The home underwent a stunning restoration designed by Paul McKean Architecture as seen on this year's AIA tour of homes.
