In a lively, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood, we transformed a traditional front garden into a striking gravel garden designed to thrive in the site's specific conditions. Inspired by our client’s deep appreciation for plants, we created a slightly elevated, Mediterranean-style planting bed with a clean gravel mulch finish.

Our plant palette combines bold structure and seasonal interest, featuring Cupressus sempervirens, Eriobotrya japonica, Stipa gigantea ‘Little Giant’, Sesleria ‘Campo Azul’, Verbascum ‘Arctic Summer’, Phlomis russeliana, Azara microphylla, Melianthus major, Euphorbia rigida, Parahebe catarractae, Echium wildpretii, and an array of seasonal bulbs and succulents. We also retained and integrated the existing Yucca glauca to enhance continuity. This reimagined garden offers year-round beauty, blending bold textures and drought-tolerant planting in a sustainable, visually dynamic way. Completed 2022 by Custom Yard Construction.
